Not only was LAC student Gerri Fernandez chosen by Edie Carpenter (the Director of Curatorial & Artistic Programs at the prestigious Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art in Greensboro) to be part of their Winter 2012 Group Exhibition, December 1, 2012 - January 15, 2013, but she was one of the most successful artists of the exhibition.  A photograph by Gerri Fernandez was chosen to be on the cover of the exhibition postcard and on a billboard advertising the exhibition. During the private Collector's reception prior to the opening of the exhibition, she sold all her works on exhibit - - plus a private collector bought 3 more prints directly from her.  Congratulations, Gerri!
