LIVING ARTS COLLEGE7.22.16Our Interactive Media students were fortunate to have Fox50’s Director of Creative Services, Kevin Kolbe pop by the classroom this week! He helped evaluate Professor Marx Myth’s Conceptual Design class project. His feedback was invaluable to our students and will help guide them to the final pitch at the end of the summer term. The students presented a pitch for a product with a PowerPoint presentation. Kevin critiqued their work as if they worked for Fox50. He made strong points to each team and how they could approve upon their skills. When presenting a pitch Kevin stressed to never, ever share the negative aspects of a product unless you improved or fixed the issue. He went on to tell the students to make sure every slide matters and to make sense on why the slide is there. His words were priceless to our students and will only help them improve as they continue with the next phase of their class project. Thank you so much Kevin for visiting our class! Kevin Kolbe has over 31 years of experience in TV, radio, promotion, production and creative marketing. He’s been honored with multiple Emmy, PromaxBDA and Addy Awards. Over the years, Kevin served on the NATAS Board of Governors, FOX MAPP Board, AGAPE of NC, Millbrook High School Digital Career Academy and many others. |
