This month fifteen acoustic design students visited the recording studio of James Lugo, a renowned vocal coach and recording engineer. James moved from LA to Raleigh and shared how he converted his basement into a professional recording studio.

The students learned about reflection control, acoustic treatment and sound isolation. James also shared his advice on current trends and challenges happening in the music industry.
