Instructor Mark Smith's DM339 Digital Publishing class and instructor Michael Pearce's BU415 studio film class visited Backyard BBQ Pit in Durham on Tuesday, October 15.  Mr. Smith's class focused on developing menus for the eatery, as well as potentially developing take-out and catering menus also.  The class went to interview the owners and to look at their ambiance for inspiration.  Mr. Pearce's class did some "B" shots to develop into a possible web-series or other possible marketing campaigns.  Both classes learned much from this trip to aid in the marketing of this local business that has come to Living Arts for inspiration!
