Living Arts College instructor Dea Varone and Living Arts student Breton Daymude were awarded Volunteers of the Month by the Triangle AMA (American Marketing Association) during a luncheon at the Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dea and Breton were recognized for helping the Triangle AMA with their 2013 Chapter Excellence Awards submission. Dea and Breton had won both the Continued Excellence Award as well as the Membership Excellence Award by the Triangle AMA for their Chapter Excellence Awards book submission. WRAL-TV5 was also present at the luncheon to speak about the re-design of its website. Also in attendance were Living Arts College Director Debra Hooper and Assistant Campus Director Matt Kelly. All were proud and amazed at Dea and Breton's accomplishments! |
