As of today, 3/23/2020, the risk of contracting the coronavirus still remains relatively low, however the State of North Carolina and Wake County has further restricted measures and has declared a heightened state of emergency.

For more details on the President's guidelines or the current CDC guidelines go to www.cdc.gov/COVID-19

Stay tuned to the STOPit app and the college's online dashboard here for changing information as the COVID-19 health crisis evolves. We would like to recommend the following guidelines for students and employees:

1. Students are not permitted in the main campus building at this time. Only staff, faculty and employee guests are permitted at this time. If you are a student and need to speak to someone at the College please call 919-488-8500.

2. Social distancing: Respect a minimum six-foot distance from individuals on campus when interacting with them. Avoid talking or coughing or sneezing in close proximity to anyone. In accordance with President Trump's and NC's measures do not gather more than 10 people at a time, especially in confined spaces. Avoid groups or gatherings at all, if possible.

3. Personal hygiene: Wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose or mouth. Wipe down personal office equipment routinely.

STAY TUNED FOR ONGOING NOTIFICATIONS.
