Last Wednesday, April 20th, a group of students attended ECGC (East Coast Game Conference) in Raleigh. Current students Jonathan Toney, Alberto Vazquez, Maya Rose, Thomas Schirf, Ambar Catalan, Jonathan Pierce and recent graduates Derrick Nsibuka and Ryan Benedetto all walked the expo floor talking to professionals in the field and trying new games and technology.  Many local companies were at the conference which gave the students the opportunity to talk about their work and potential internships or even freelance work.

The conference was three days long and on the second day the expo was available.  The key note speaker on that day was well known game designer Warren Spector.  He discussed his opinions on Narrative Traps in Story as it relates to games.  Extremely informative.

Good times were had by all at this local conference that had 1300+ attendees.
