According to DeMaris M. Mial, LAC student Bernadette Mulanga started off very reserved in her academics and in confidence.  She has recently changed her approach in school by taking courses in the day and evening time. Bernadette is obviously preparing for an early graduation.  She has changed her focus and drive to excel for success. During the summer module, her nephew passed in a terrible car accident but Bernadette continued to triumph academically. She completed the module with all exemptions due to a superb attendance and 95 percentage in her academics, which speaks volumes of her perseverance. She is definitely a student who should be recognized for her progression throughout the school year.
