Marx Myth took his Studio Business Practices class to visit the SAS campus. Everyone was very impressed with the campus…and their work. Marx and his students were shown around by James Rushing and Ed Harriss (both alumni of our College).

To anyone not familiar with this NC corporate giant here is a short description.

“SAS is an American developer of analytics software based in Cary, North Carolina. SAS develops and markets a suite of analytics software (also called SAS), which helps access, manage, analyze and report on data to aid in decision-making. The company is the world’s largest privately held software business and its software is used by most of the Fortune 500″

..and it’s a great place to work!!

Ed and James were gracious with their time by also showing the students the executive recording facilities (with giant recording studios and green screens) plus a sampling of their portfolio and recent work. The Living Arts College crowd was able to ask questions on hiring and internships.

Overall the giant campus and amazing facilities were very memorable.
