The Integrated Advertising and Marketing class took a much anticipated trip to Anoroc Agency, located in Downtown Raleigh. The award-winning agency’s president, Deborah Loercher, really inspired the students with her unabashed advice about the real world and how students must groom themselves to be successful. She really challenged them to focus on the marketing aspects of design and to make sure they have a reason for the design choices that they make in a project. At the end of the visit, Deborah told the students to keep in touch, and if their work is good enough, they can apply for internships.
