Veteran photographer speaking at Living Arts

On Wednesday, November 13 at 10:30am, Charles Register, a veteran photographer, will be speaking to students in the Theater of the Living Arts College campus.  Charles Register has over 20 years experience producing quality creative imagery for corporations, advertising agencies, magazines and small businesses in boardrooms, power plants, island resorts, and remote locations around the world.  [Pictured, left, are 2 examples of his work] His emphasis is on travel and tourism, lifestyle, environmental portraiture, architectural photography, and scenic landscapes.  Beyond North Carolina and the United States, he has photographed Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Bermuda, many of the Caribbean islands, and Costa Rica.  A native North Carolinian who grew up in New Bern, Charles graduated from Randolph Technical College with a degree in Photographic Technology in 1986.  He gained an internship at the Smithsonian Institution in 1985 and worked with Roger Ball Photography in Charlotte from 1986 to 1989 doing mostly industrial and annual report photography.  Charles has been freelancing and living in Raleigh since 1989.  Come out to hear Charles' informative presentation Wednesday!
