Baldwin& is a graphic design and advertising agency that works to drive traffic and increase client sales through the use of different types of media. Baldwin& is a medium sized team made up of designers, programmers, marketers, strategists, and planners.

They have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Krispy Kreme, Burt’s Bees, and Cree.They have produced commercials, online coupons, interactive apps, and more. The Krispy Kreme online coupon was the second most clicked ad during the month of December.

The Baldwin& facility is very spacious and contains all the necessary equipment. The team likes to have a good amount of “thinking space” and a comfortable area to work in. Baldwin& usually handles everything within the company from video to design output.

Baldwin& was started ten years ago with only a team of three people. Their first big client went okay until they got sued. Fortunately Baldwin& was able to push through and keep gaining clients. Since then Baldwin& has grown to have an exceptional reputation and an excellent design team. They pitch ideas to clients using facts and prior research. They make the client understand why they are making certain decisions and how it will positively affect them. Pitching ideas takes a lot of time and can be very bad if they don’t land the job.

I was extremely impressed with their ideas and previous work. Turning a coupon into an interactive ad was a very smart idea because it combines traditional methods with today’s technology. The commercials they produced were captivating, informative, and most of all modern. I believe it is very important to stay on top of design trends and Baldwin& is doing just that.

I enjoyed learning how such a big company thrives in the design industry today. It is crazy to think everyday over 20 applications are sent to Baldwin&. I would be interesting in learning how much a graphic designer makes working at Baldwin&. Overall it was a great experience and I love the welcoming atmosphere they have.
